Android-ledare biter tillbaka mot Steve Jobs

Steve Jobs VD gav för några dagar sedan ett svar på det vanliga "iOS är
stängt, Android är öppet":

"In reality, we think the open versus closed argument is just a smokescreen
to try and hide the real argument, which is what's best for the customer. We
think Android is very, very fragmented and becoming more fragmented by the
day. As you know, Apple strives for the integrated model, so the user isn't
forced to be the systems integrator," he said. "We see tremendous value [in
the integrated model]...When selling to users who want things to just work,
we believe that integrated will trump fragmented every time."

Andy Rubin, Google, svarar i sin Tweet:

*the definition of open: "mkdir android ; cd android ; repo init -u git://
android.git.kernel.org/platform/manifest.git ; repo sync ; make"*

Det tyckte jag var roligt ;-)
